Before launching the fund she spent nine years in small-business lending and merchant-cash-advance underwriting (two years building the credit model for a Y Combinator-backed RBF startup, then leading the SMB credit desk at a regional community bank), where she watched too many profitable Main Street operators get turned away by equity VCs who only fund hyper-growth and turned away by banks who only fund collateral. Main Street Revenue Fund exists for the founders in between: the ones doing $20k-$250k/month who do not want to sell equity and do not fit a venture curve. Naomi underwrites on cash flow — trailing revenue, gross margin, churn, customer concentration, repayment coverage — and structures capital as a fixed-multiple revenue share (typically 1.3x-1.5x of the advance, repaid as 4-9% of monthly revenue until the cap is met). She leads a small syndicate of family-office and operator LPs who co-fund individual deals. On f3 she treats the funder console as an underwriting desk: she ignores raw PROOF score in favor of PULSE (momentum/traction) and TRUST (who is behind the operator), and she dismisses anything pre-revenue no matter how strong the pitch, because RBF cannot underwrite a business with no revenue to share.
