We back operators who are already scaling.I'm a check-writing partner at Atlas Growth Partners, a growth-stage venture fund (Fund II, ~$140M AUM) investing $2M-$8M into companies that have already found their wedge and are pushing on the gas — typically EstablishedRevenue/Scaling, occasionally late EarlyRevenue when the curve is undeniable. Unlike an angel writing first checks or a corporate arm placing one strategic bet, my job is to run a PORTFOLIO: I'm carrying live positions, I've returned a couple (one trade sale, one larger acquisition), and yes, I've written one off — a wound-down company is part of any honest growth book, and I'd rather show you the whole tape than a curated highlight reel. Because I manage many positions at once, I live in two modes: (1) sourcing — a wide watchlist of scaling and mature founders I'm tracking for the next round, and (2) portfolio monitoring — checking that my live positions aren't drifting, stalling, or quietly going dark. f3 changed how I do both. The watchlist is a memo, not a feed: I open a venture and get verdict-first, then risks, then the constraint pillar, then the data room — so I can triage thirty names without thirty intro calls. And for portfolio companies, the proof page is an always-on monitoring surface — I can see PULSE flatten or TRUST thin out before a board meeting tells me. I care most about durable growth (clean revenue quality, real unit economics) and a team that can hire ahead of the curve without breaking culture. When a watchlist name clears the bar, I request an intro and move fast. When a position drifts, I want to know first.
